The chimp is actually sitting on a bit of itself! It has a large fatty lump about the size of a football on its rear. There are signs up saying that it doesn't cause her any discomfort or anything.

WOW! They are completely and utterly awesome!
Dunno if you changed any settings but the sharpness seems absolutely perfect on those pics on this monitor now
The detail is breathtaking - they have to be some of the sharpest and clearest pics I have ever seen! And I'm really proud that they were taken by a yoPhotographer member

Sharpness seems normal even though you are still using "Hard" sharpness setting on your camera. The detail and quality of the Chimpanzee shot#3 is excellent, great capture

Do you find it easy to shoot with hand held??
you were lucky to get the Tiger and Leopard shots as they are usually in hiding LOL

The big cats were really active today, the tigers were prowling the fence and the leopards were up and about too, except for one guy who was just lying on a tree the whole time in full view
The lens can get a bit heavy, but I have no problems shooting hand geld with it, opening up the aperture its always shooting fast enough to cope with any camera shake.
