Red squirrels

Was at Centerparcs in Penrith last week with my hubby so got to see red squirrels because they're a conservation center. They are so cute

All taken with my Nikon D40 and 18-135mm lens

beautiful creatures!! much better than their grey counterparts!!

I love number 5.. if it had been just a little bit more in focus?? I like the way he is looking into the camera... a rare shot with squirrels. nicely cropped too.

Cheers Azz! He was running towards us and then just paused and looked really cheeky. Lucky shot I can't believe they came so close to us

Cheers Sam! I know the focusing is off in them but they run off so fast and it was a really overcast day so I wasn't taking the best pics. I was just rushing to get any sort of shot! Maybe next time!

I posted a series of Grey Squirrel shots a month or so ago, I find them fascinating to watch! And you're so right LG, they are really quick, lol

D'you know...I think I've only ever seen one Red Squirrel in my entire life.
