Big Birds

Three of my favourite photos of birds of prey, taken last summer . They were all stunning.

Lovely shots there, I think Birds of prey make good subjects, dont know why, they just do!

Dawn, maybe it's because they are not afraid to stare at you, so they stare straight into the camera. They certainly weren't at all shy, and did seem to actually enjoy the fuss and attention.

brilliant this is my goal is to take pics of birds of prey. About 1/2 mile up the road from me there is a pair of perigrin falcons i always go to watch them through my binoculars and would love to take pics of them on the nest and in flight! maybe one day soon my dream will come true

It could well be that yes, Birds usually take off, but these guys are in your face!
