I went fishing yesterday and in the timely honour of fisherman the world over, here's my story of the one that got away.............

Where was that taken ? , that would have bent the rod , for sure . I am off to Thailand next Sunday and hope to see some rod benders myself .

Fantastic! We went on a pelagic on Sunday and saw very little in the way of birds, but we did see some close up dolphins and a possible Minke Whale, also a Sunfish <3

The shot was taken about 17kms on the seaward side of Stradbroke Island which is about 30 kilometres from Brisbane.
The whale came up right beside the boat (65 foot Cat) and had a look at us, then it went a little further away and started showing off.
They pass through the area every year around this time.
