Buzzard & Swallow
Managed to catch a few flying shots this weekend whilst out for a walk.

These are terrific Phil, I tried to track a Swallow with the camera at work one day, not a chance, so how do you do it?

That first Buzzard photo is a belter, feather definition is spot on, ku dos on the Swallow, difficult to track.

Hit and miss Ken to be honest. That said I caught that one with the 40D. Normally I need the superior AF of the 1D2 to track fast birds such as Swallows.

I was quite pleased with the detail in that shot. I think it's because it isn't a crop as it went up right in front of me.
