Paynes Prairie Preserve
Lovely drive in the preserve...I saw the deer far off among the trees...and odd tree roots in the swamp, maybe water oak? I really don't know.
As in all Florida forests there are burns...I don't like them...
I drove there yesterday...I am a very timid driver...to get there I drove to Ocala and got on the I75...very very heavy traffic for 20 miles! When I left here I drove cross country toward home...see next posting...Shirley
