Rising Sun Ramblings

Rising Sun CP or Swallow pond to us locals, is a canny place to wander round and take a few photos.

But first a good breakfast of Duck Porridge.

Nice display of Rosebay Willowherb or Fireweed.

A single Ruddy darter sunned itself on a flat rock.

6 spot Burnet moths seem to love Knapweed.

Watching him watching me.

Re: Rising Sun Ramblings

Love the duck the dragonfly and the deer! Not keen on the fire-weed though...a lot of my past working life was spent uprooting it...and the roots, like any willow herb, are incredible

Re: Rising Sun Ramblings

Ta guys, My friend likens the mallard ducklings to tennis balls, all taken with my 100-400 lens, so im surprised at the close ups. Im going to try for a revisit soon as i would like better light for another deer shot.
