My auntie and Skye.

This is my first attempt at shooting people, any help on how to imporve with be appreciated It was still done on auto mode. I am going to have to look at the manual

It's a nice capture

With people shots it's all about the composition to me... and getting them at that magical moment - that captures their best bits (ie the ones that those that love them love about them, could be a smile, an expression, anything)...

Having people 'pose' obviously provides you with the opportunity to improve the technical aspects of your portraits.

That said.....If I could pass on one general 'tip'....it would be to try and capture people as naturally as possible.

Thats what I was trying, I thought her expresions as skye was in "mental mode" would be better.
