Re: ABSA Yateley Heath

Nice shots Sammy - love the one of Phoebs having a cuddle, she's such a sweetheart.

What aperture and focal length were you using? My own personal preference is to see the dogs in focus as oppose to the musher, but as I said that is purely personal preference

I am guessing the aperture was quite wide to allow for the speed necessary to freeze the movement?

The portrait shots are stunning

I was having trouble yesterday for some reason with my action shots they are usually fine, but was struggling yesterday, hence why i didn't take too many, also it was so cold so i had a lot of camera shake... i prefer the focus on the dogs too, although one of them was meant to be on the musher which was Leigh Marsden who won the 6 dog championship so wanted him to be the focus of the shot.

I had the aperture set at about f 4.0 ish.
