Pacific Shoreline

I took a drive to the Pacific Coast this morning and actually saw no rain. There were dramatic overcast skies that produce my favorite diffused light on everything. After processing this image I saved a number of versions: straight color, framed color and framed B&W. I'm posting the two framed versions to see if anyone likes one more than the other, and why. Have fun!

Re: Pacific Shoreline

Like the colour, the B&W doesn't do much for me, but that is just personal preference.

Re: Pacific Shoreline

i would have edited out that sign post on the tip of the jutting out point of land. Just distracts from what nature as on offer to look at. As for which photo, they all have their own merits but having to be picky I go for the unframed version.

Re: Pacific Shoreline

Interesting scene Bob

My personal preference as the two shots stand is for the colour version.

I think the most contrasting elements of the scene are the colours. Once converted to black and white that contrast is lost as the initial colours are of a similar tone.
