Real weather

Weather!
You ain't seen weather until you have lived through a few cyclones (tornado or hurricane if you live elsewhere along the Tropics).
Normally, sane people head for the cyclone shelter, but the marginally insane photographer, desperate surfers hanging out for a wave, or a few kids who told their parents they were going to school will all head out to play.

No, sorry, image 3 for me. Fantastic use of light and not a bit of creamy water in sight. I am so envious.

Re: Real weather

I'm seeing something akin to scratch marks or banding across the last image. Have you noticed this?

Just noticed it, Bob. I did a backtrack and they appeared during the process of transferring to Flickr. Never seen that before. Not fussed though. I don't intend on doing anything with the shot. Don't really like it that much. Just wanted to show you how dumb Darwinites can be. This water is full of stingers and crocs. Its also muddy and warm (30 degC) and the waves are just wind chop.
Mind you, we surfers to get desperate here. I have been known to paddle out when no-one is looking.
