Re: A walk in the woods..

I do find this marriage of nature and art appeals to me, first time i encountered it was at Grizedale forest in the lake district.

Re: A walk in the woods..

Looks like you chose a good day for you outing Steve, the light and colour are wonderful. I've seen the tricycle sculpture before, it was near the Goodwood festival of speed last year.

Yes thats probably the one, although there are two of the tricycle sculptures both the same but one is a lot smaller..they are still on the goodwood estate now just further up the road....not long now untill the 2012 festival of speed which I am looking forward to..mind you as I only live 5 mins away from goodwood I am always up there for track days, and are usually lucky enough to get a tabbard for so as I can go trackside to photograph..

Lucky indeed Steve, It took me several hours to travel the last 3 miles of my journey on to the grounds, by which time I couldn't even get near to the trackside , so will probably give this years meet a miss.

What you need to do Ken is go on the friday, and aim to get to goodwood at about 7.30 am ..drive straight in and park very close to the action..same for the revival..
