Yacht Club

This is another go at subtle HDR proccesing. I know HDR is not to everyones taste ( and to be honest when it's overcooked it's not to mine ) but at the moment I am keeping an open mind and seeing if it has a use in my type of photography.

Thanks for looking, Steve.

Re: Yacht Club

Nice perspective shot Steve, If you had not said, I would not have guessed it was an HDR PP'd shot.

Re: Yacht Club

Thanks Ken, I am just playing at the moment to see if I can gain anything from it or not..

on the couple of images that I have tried it on so far I have been able to pull out a bit more detail without it looking to un natural.

Re: Yacht Club

Thank you Diane, Mark & Tina..I am quite pleased that they dont look like they have had too much HDR treatment, even if they have ..I have been playing with a process where I use 5 or 7 exposures and merge them in photomatix and do my tone mapping then save as tiffs before re-opening as camera raw and then open as a smart object in CS5 and finish my processing there..

I wouldn't have known either, though the back windows are a little bit of a giveaway. Really like the image, works well.
