Urban Patch
My final recording patch is an urban site, with a lake and waggonways, just north east of Newcastle upon Tyne.
The lake was heavily frozen during the recent harsh winters.
At times like this the large population of Mute Swans are grateful for the locals giving bread. PS i found that they love Brussel Sprouts.
Some of the regular birds.
Goldeneye.
Pochard.
Grey Heron.
Moorhen.
Goosander.

Ta Ken and Steve, its an unusual site as anything can turn up, and its good for Damselflys and other insects in the warmer months.
