When no birds, might be lizzards..



I have found out that several kinds of these little lizzards hang out on the stone work of a old chimney in the park. They blend in so well with the stones that it is really hard to see them. Shirley

Oh wow, wonderful things! I've never seen a wild one in the UK or Ireland, but I have in France, goodness knows what species though!

Nice capture Shirley.. how big are these lizzards ?, the ones that I photograph are about 6 to 7 inches long..

I used to see loads of them when I was a kid, but now I only know of one place close to where I live that has both lizzards and dragonflies in the summer..
