Even though they come in swarms I don't get to photograph them very often other than groundfeeding so It was nice to have one sit still for me even if the perch was a bit on the chunky side.

I actually really like perches like this! I'm struggling to get any birds to my feeders at the moment, so it's back to quietly stalking them in hedges etc! Great work!
