Another Robin

Well i suppose it could be the same Robin and he does make a good model

Kay, this is a nice image, so please don't be offended at what I say.

When displaying a photo like this try cropping so that the subject occupies the right (in this case) of the frame, rather than the middle.

It really will make a difference, giving the subject some 'room' to look into, turning a good shot into a great shot - honest.

Still think Robins are a beautiful bird nicely captured yes on the crop will make it a cracker with dof like that...

Thank you Fogey for your suggestion and I am amazed at the difference
it has made, this is about as much space as i had available, what do you think ?, and please be honest, i don't take offence, i what to learn

Now the second is a stunning image, Kay.

Edited to say: Don't be afraid of a letter-box crop. Sometimes this tip can really rescue a picture as well as enhance a good image.
