Beautiful mate the thing is so many different types seem like we been invaded by these and Bees on steroids they are huge this year...

Thank you all. I still can't work it out even with the link Brian

Richard. The shot was in my garden with a 60mm macro lens. The sun was bright against the back fence, so as I shot that in raw I could play around and make the background lighter than it was.

Sky i have a book on Bumblers but still struggle with them, perhaps Bombus lucorum, or Bombus pascuorum, Im sure Abovelifesize may know.

I was told on another site it may be a Hoverfly. Still not sure though
