High and Dry

Abandoned boat on Alnmouth Braid (Northumberland.

Alnmouth is a Northumbrian village on the coast, its claim to fame was it was attacked by John Paul Jones the famous privateer of the American navy during the war of Independence in 1779.

Snook House Lindisfarne, (Holy Island)

The garden is a great place to look for migrant birds in Spring and Autumn.

Re: High and Dry

I like the images very much especially the second one.

It is a lovely area and I visit regularly either staying at Morpeth, Seahouses or near Druridge bay and was due to go up this Easter but have been advised against it by my consultant as I am having a small op on Thursday that could cause serious complication and they would rather I was local just in case. So I am going to miss out

Re: High and Dry

Cheers guys, good luck with the OP Steve, weather is looking a bit grim around Easter so perhaps not a bad thing to stay local.

regards brian.
