Cheers Zoundz - the first is displaying better than the 2nd on here even though they're similar shots and the same in terms of IQ.

I've never been interested in birding Phil but that doen't mean I don't appreciate your photographs. There are some excellent bird photographers on this forum so I'm glad I can see the difference quality makes. Job well done.

Ken - yes, these were with the 100-400 and 40D
Bob - I was never into bird photography untill I found myself unable to drive for 5 months or so. I guess it was just a case of photographing what was in the garden and I've kept at it.
