Old Oak Tree photos added

The tree is leafing out with new spring leaves and since it rained for 5 hours the night before I took this, the Resurection fern covering the limbs is also green again. Resurection Fern dries out to crunchy dead looking debree when it doesn't rain enough...Shirley

Re: Old Oak Tree

Some other trees in the park...almost every tree has a characteristic all its own. There is just a short distance where the road is sunny...lots of big old oaks, Live Oak and Water Oak, today the fern was crunchy brown again...green Sunday, dead looking Thursday...Shirley

Re: Old Oak Tree

The first is great, it has an impressionist feel to it.

Have to agree, my thinking is camera shake and too much editing. Maybe time to invest in a light travelling tripod.

I have had a go at editing the first picture from this which on my monitor looks very mauve

to this which may have a little too much green ,but for me is more natural
Look at the footpath its now more grey

It ia always hard to guess which is correct unless your actually there, so my version may be completely wrong
