My favorite butterfly
I think this is a Giant Eastern Tiger Swallowtail...but there are other butterflies that look the same except the black lines are a bit different...never the less, the biggest of our butterflies and in yellow and black...so happy to be seeing them this year...only saw 6 all of last year... Shirley

The detail is lovely, especially on the flower heads. The butterfly is similar to our Swallow tail, which is quite rare with a very limited distribution.
