A whole host of previous project samples and assorted shots.

Will try not to make this too pic heavy but know it will end up it anyway! Thought i'd share a selection from over the last few years varying from assorted photos to samples of projects i've ran with
First a few assorted shots of pets, livestock, zoo animals etc. Nothing amazing just a real jumble.

There were meant to be considerably more, but thought I'd see if it was working before doing them all-evidentally not! Back to the drawing board eh!

Re: A whole host of previous project samples and assorted shots.

Here are some sample pieces from a project based around experimenting with fine art styles in photography, basing it around the dutch style of floral paintings with very vibrant colouring and high contrast between the colours. I do have the final selection somewhere on a hard drive but these were some of the "pioneering points" at the beginning of said project.
It was just an excuse to set myself something with still life as always use something living!

Re: A whole host of previous project samples and assorted shots.

A few samples from another project focusing around the idea of how our past can exist within our present, there were some really nice images from a selection of old farm labour cottages too but can't seem to place them. These were some pretty basic pieces using our dear capital as an example of it's past existing within it's future

Re: A whole host of previous project samples and assorted shots.

Something a bit different, a project that I spent quite a bit of time on actually around a year ago. Examining cinematography and the different styles we see commonly, it was around a time when lots were fascinated with the really bleak way that Shane Meadows managed to project things in his "This is England" programs. This project was based around picking apart the depth yet bleakness, and the manipulation of lighting and colour and how it affects how we perceive the ideals put across, that he seems to use but in standard photography.
There's only a few, and these aren't the ones I wanted to post as they have that awful black fade surround as these were the copies used and framed when exhibited for the purpose the project was taken for-they looked much better without but again can't remember where original ones were.

Will leave it there as think I've bored you enough already!
