Just Happy

First of all, I'd like to say thank to SteveL for the previous tips on taking photos of the dog, using these as a starting point these are much better than my previous attempts (still no good action shots but I need more practice..)

I realise they wont win any awards but I am really pleased with them.

Called 'Just Happy' as this is my boy in his element. He loves the sun, his toy and he is in his favourite place, life couldn't get much better in his eyes (unless I brought a bone along maybe!).

Re: Just Happy

Lovely Dobe you have there and that sunshine (often a nightmare for photography) is showing off that glossy coat.

Steve take some fab dog shots so you're in good hand advise wise.

Re: Just Happy

Photography in bright sunlight is a nightmare. High contrast & sharp shadows rob color saturation and detail. Phil can relate to this with landscapes. There early morning light or dusk light is requires. You did a good job on the second shot retaining detail & color.

Re: Just Happy

Thanks BM, I took loads, think the bottom one is probably my favourite of the lot. But I can see a few bits needing improved, so I'll keep an eye out next time...
