Randoms

A few randoms from the garden.

Dunnock

Long Tailed Tit - The perch is a bit beefy for such a wee bird but hey ho.

Female Siskin

Male Siskin

Male Yellowhammer I think ? - Not had these before but I've dozens of them groundfeeding at the moment

Female Yellowhammer ? - Certainly not as colourful (excuse the greenhouse in the background)

Your yellowhammers are fab! I've not seen any yet this year, and I used to see a lot of them. Must get out looking - one of my favourite buntings!

Thanks Ken. LTTs are great little bids but they don't hang about.

Cheers Zoundz. This is the first year I've noticed them in the garden.

Cheers Moonie. Casper gets the odd one but and Paddy's getting to old to try. It was Murphy and Bramble that were the real culprits but they're pushing up Daisy's now.

Thanks mandphoto. It's taken a few years of trial and error to get them all coming but I guess it's just down to whats local.

They're so vivid aren't they. Certainly not easy to miss.
