Various dogs, portrait practice

Went for a brilliant walk with some dog friends, and these are some of the better pictures I took

1. Dallie

2. Northern Inuit

3. Chasing Axel

4. NI

5. Axel

6. NI

7. Lurcher

8. Lurcher

9. NI

10. NI

11. NI

12. GSD

We had a fabulous time and it was lovely to have a variety of subjects - reminds me how hard black dogs are to photograph compared!

Re: Various dogs, portrait practice

Some lovely shots here Melanie. 1,4,5,6,8,9 and 11 i like Number six, the Northern inuit, he/she is lovely, they are such beautiful dogs Northern Inuits, if we could of had a larger breed of dog then two of my top choices would be huskies or NI`s, many have fantastic markings, and they are of great temperment as well.

Re: Various dogs, portrait practice

Some great portraits shots there BG, I like the shots 1, 4, 5, 6, 9, 11.

shot 4, I would clone out the beer can.

Shot 9, is my favourite, I like the alert expression.

11, is my second favourite, see above reason.
