Wader on the beach

This brazen little bird wandered quite close to me this morning whilst I was out.

No idea what it is 'cause if it ain't edible I can't identify it

I think it maybe a Turnstone Steve, hopefully somebody will verify this.....Funny birds, think they eat almost anything they can get in their mouths. Nice clear shot

Thanks everyone. A Turnstone eh. New one one me. definitely was not afraid of getting close to people and it was actually flicking shells etc. over and I presumed it was to find any bugs hiding underneath.
