Laying the new water main
This operation is scheduled to take eight weeks. Just came out of hibernation for this shot. Must go fill the kettle before they turn the water off again.

Wish they would lay a proper water main to us. The original farmer put in a pipe which isn't really big enough to give a decent supply.

Ah, the blue is for cold tap, so they will be laying the red one next for the hot tap
