Re: redwing

Yes a Redwing Bazza. Unusual for them to go to ground unless its in a field or there are a lot of berry bushes about. Or its really cold like it is now
We have lots of them hanging around our house at the moment, i reckon at its peak yesterday there was around 100 sitting in the trees. I had counted 80 earlier on in the afternoon and then numbers seemed to increase later on...........One did come down and land on our fence but did not stay long. Great little birds they are and well spotted by you

Re: redwing

Cold weather on the continent is pushing quite a few species our way. A grand visitor to your garden.
