Candids

Candids are something i try from time to time, i like this style of photography when done well and though i try to emulate i still havent achieved the results i want.

New Years day dip in the North Sea.

Sundowners, a couple at sunset at St Marys Island

Having a tab, busker in Newcastle upon Tyne.

Dance troupe, one of the Avant Guarde dance troupe. Street performed who mix Hip-hop and Chinese pole dancing, Loved the intense focus in her gaze.

and no birds

The Dhol Foundation, great live band playing the Talk of the Tyne festival on Tynemouth high Street, the kids really got into their rhythmic music.

Re: Candids

These are all interesting shots, but i love the silhouetted couple and the busker

I enjoy looking at candid shots and agree they are lovely when done well, I haven't really tried taking any candid shots myself, but i think i am going to give it a try when i'm out and about again I just think i might be a little embarrassed

Re: Candids

Every picture tells a story. I don't think I want to know the story behind no1

Second one is superb.

Re: Candids

They're all great, especially the silhouette - but I think you've caught a fascinating moment and some great expressions in number 1 so that's my overall favourite.
