want to visit the zoo...

I want to get some nice animal shots and visit a zoo near me (no not the local high school!!!)...

Do you think i'll be able to use my tripod or monopod and do you think they would be ok with me taking photos with my DSLR?

I keep meaning to go down there when the weather is a bit nicer.

We quite often pop over to Chester zoo and there are always photographers there. Iv taken mine over a few times aswell. As long as your no obstructing then there should be no problems.

Thanks KK, i just phoned Marwell Zoo and one of the guys is going to call me back when he gets into the office.

Just spoke to the photographer at Marwell Zoo and he has said to come down in the end of April, he said to give him a shout when i get there and he will take me around and show me some of the best places to get shots of the animals

I'm excited too.. although its a long wait until April, but he said probably the best shots will be then not too hot so they will be more active... also means there will be some babies about too
