Macro Flowers

Been playing around with my set up for Macro, with the use of a light ring and my flash gun placed in a different position with the help of an extension cable and the fact i am using a tripod i think this is the best i am going to achieve without buying a dedicated Macro Lens.

Image 1 - Anthers of a lily



Image 2 - Little white flower - Not a clue what the name of this flower is, a common flower though widely used in bouquets. The flower measures 2mm. Any clues anybody??



Image 3 - Heart of a Carnation

The carnation stands out for me, colour shape, texture form a nice abstract.

Thanks Brian. I nearly did not upload the Carnation. I have done plenty of macro shots just like this of Carnations/Roses but not uploaded them previously as i did not think the image looked right.

Carnation for me with the shapes, colour and light.

I like the detail of shot 1 and the colours of shot 3.

I like the Carnation best too and I think your white flower is Gypsofula or ( babies breath) http://www.flowers.vg/flowers/babiesbreath.htm.
