A few birds from today

A quick visit to a couple of the local reservoirs today, wanted to clap eyes on a little fella that had not been seen in the area for 30 years , and also clap eyes on a Pale Bellied Brent Goose Juvenile which has been around for some weeks now although it is the 1st time i have seen it. The Brent goose is an unusual visitor to our neck of the woods but it looks like he might make Herts his home for the winter. He seems content with spending most of his time with the Greylags.

Image 1 - A pair of Shovelers

Image 2 - Greylag Geese and a Dark Bellied Brent Goose

Image 3 - Pied Wagtail

Image 4 & 5 - Swans - In flight and Landing

Images 6 to 9 - A little fella not seen in these parts since 1981 - A Male Snow Bunting

Thanks for looking

Re: A few birds from today

Thanks Owen.
Wonderful colors on the Snow Bunting. I am so glad there were other people at the res coming to look at this bird, he was very well camouflaged. I was not sure how skittish he was at 1st so there was a lot of distance in my 1st lot of images and was relying on the camera to capture him as i could not see him. Here was one such image. Can you spot him??

I gradually made myself closer to him though and he was happy to stay feeding. The 4 images are taken from about 40 feet + away
