I love the Meadow Pipit shot, that wonderful creamy green background compliments the the subject so well.

Thanks Ken, Otta and Lost, not taken today more achieves as im more or less housebound at the moment Lost. I do believe all 100- 400 Otta, i rarely have anything else on my shoulder.

The Meadow pippit would be around spring, the other two are Autumn / Winter birds, the Water pipit is a visitor to our shores.

Its great you posted all 3 up Brian as i was struggling to identify a Pipit from the other week, i, like many people find them hard to identify but at least with your images you can definitely see the differences between each one

Thanks Cakey and Lost, Id can be a problem with these, gets more complicated in Autumn as some features get lost, and we get Scandinavian Rock pipits which are subtly different.
