Serious Christmas ideas thread!
Help!
What do you get your favourite togger for a surprise?
I am being advised by a specialist team ( thanks guys) but am willing to throw it out there . I have about £150/ £250 if Dad chips in, to spend on a decent flash gun or tripod...or an exciting editing suite. I have no clues to give but what would you like on that kind of budget.

This is a tricky one to answer Vikki, a lot depends more info:
What sort of photography do they like to do?
What kit have they got already?
I guess safe options are:
tripod,
flash,
macro lens (always good fun),
Good camera bag,
Some Filters maybe: CP, + couple of ND,
Removable USB harddrive to backup those precious photos.
