Send them back this way Cakey, i missed them yesterday up at Stockers, even though a few people said they had seen them around i did not clap my eyes on one. Great images of the Ring necked Parakeets

Yes, parakeets are small or medium in size but still a species of Parrot. Remember this story coming up on the news some time ago on how these are able to survive here in our climate.

Were originally found around the Kentish area and parts of Surrey, but now it looks like they are starting to head north

Even been a couple seen up here in Northumberland, though they may be escapes rather than part of the feral breeding population.
