PC Broken
Hope to be back viewing commenting & posting soon, PC went down Tuesday had it to shop and it even has them puzzled so its off to PC heaven for this one. New PC arrives tomorrow but working so will have to wait...I'm sending this post via wife's iPod.

I'm constantly fighting to overcome my PC's problems so I sympathise Owen.
I keep promising myself a new one but for now I'll continue to battle with the various old concoctions we've got littered around the place.

I brought a Gateway from tesco's about 4 years ago it was the highest spec in my budget (only brought the tower)
I paid 500 quid and took it home plugged it in and I can honestly say it has never gone wrong or even hic cupped .
its still fast ,I do all my pictures on it with one of about 6 image processing programs ,its on all day playing spotify .
Keona plays lots of games on it when she visits .
I run Apple tv through it .
it also had a facility to run two screens which I set up and now could never go back to one !
a totally amazing machine which of course will go bang tomorrow now that Ive upped it .

Thanks to all, new one should of arrived Saturday but they had put it on delivery truck, was not to bothered as I work weekends and they have promised early delivery Monday and a little discount for their error. Cakey I think you have had great service from yours mate and hopefully hope it continues. To be honest I have had good run with my other one and it's actually a fault developed on motherboard so thought time for a new one, I have switched from pentium to amd with their latest 6 core as the spec is good for money...thanks to all this delivered via the trusty iPod touch

Lucky my lappy is still running smoooooooth. The 6 year old Dell main pc gave up the other day. Work friend of my wife is a computer guy. Hard drive gone. He can get another for £35 (and what he charges for fitting it). Hopefully it will be like new.

I just watched match of the day on my wifes ipad as the rest of the house were watching, I'm a nobody get me out of here. Great screen to watch the footie on
