Storm on a Christmas Day

I took this on Christmas day in 2005, Its not a great photo but it is one of my faves, I wanted to make it look a little differnet. I dont really like the watercolour filter in ps but had a look around online and play about on ps and came up with this.

Original

After

Re: Storm on a Christmas Day

The filter is too harsh. Looks like they're in the sea. Doesn't do it for me.

Re: Storm on a Christmas Day

I like it - but do agree with Manguish, if you change the background to more of a green it should look more like grass
Kit 1

Nikon 55-200mm VR
Kit 2
Nikon D40
Nikon 18-55mm
My Compact/P&S: Panasonic Lumix TZ7

Re: Storm on a Christmas Day

Its a good job its not for you then
I did have trouble with the field part, though I dont think the Original helped. I have no problems with bottom/near camera part. All in all its no classic, but I am pleased.
