Forth Road Bridge
Poor relation to THE Forth Bridge. Took a few on the way back from Edinburgh today. No tripod and just 'point and shoot' as I didn't have much time so quite pleased with how they turned out. Just messing about with the borders though.

I actually really like the borders too as they're very similar to a framed picture I have up in the lounge

Great photos Phil !
They reminded me of a few pictures that I took of a similar bridge in Lisbon, Portugal.
These were taken from the back of a taxi as I was heading to the airport.
Although, looking at your images Phil, reminds me how much I need to get a better camera.

I went for B&W simply because in colour - well, there wasn't much colour - it was a pale winter sky and a dull grey bridge.
Upped the contrast a bit (perhaps a bit too much) but I thought the lines / shapes would at least stand out that way.

If you look at the last picture VERY carefully - on the footings of the bridge on the far side - you can just make out some people.
