do you have photoshop?
copy backgroud layer ......go to type tool (T).....type in whatever you want.....then go to the layer box on the side .......and slide the opacity down ...... if you like to move the words or make it bigger before saving the image then use the move tool hope that makes sense then im sure samnooshka or kk can explain better then me !

Re: blue iris -with or without for flickr?

It looks fine, its just a shame you have to do it in the first place, although Im sure ive heard of invisible watermarks that only show up when they attempt to print od grab it, mind you it was a while ago now, although tbh I think it something to with photoshop.

Re: blue iris -with or without for flickr?

You could just make it more subtle? Just enough so it's there but not so much it's distracting

Re: blue iris -with or without for flickr?

You may want people other than 'your contacts' and 'friends' to see your images but if not - you make a set or collection 'not public'

You can also set individual pictures so they can't be downloaded - although I've not done it with any of mine.
