Boy and their toys

Finally my OH got to fire his new Flintlock Musket, it will probably keep him amused for weeks but even I got to have a go and hit the target {these are very rare, photo's of me } as it's me always taking the photo's

Well done for having a go. No flash in the pans then

My Dad used to have a Black powder ticket and we used to shoot these. I can still remember the awful smell when he used to wash the barrels out with boiling water, it smelt like rotten eggs

Thanks KenTT, it's been a lot of messing about for him to get his Black powder licence etc, so he has been waiting to fire it now for several months, so Saturday was a big day for him. but each time he gets a new gun, it's a good excuse for me to get some more camera equipment

Hehe - looks like fun! I have used similar items in the past (cannot remember what though!) with an activity trip I did some years ago, was loads of fun, but I was a bit hopeless! ;D

Never mind Skyline, that's the sort of thing i would think of, but if daffy duck was running back and forth, i certainly wouldn't be firing at it {it just so happens one of my ducks is call daffy }

Thanks Daisy, i have always had a sense of adventure and i don't believe it should stop, just because i'm passing middle age, well actually passed middle age, but we won't go into that
