Winter sunshine

Here are a couple of imahes taken in the Botanical Gardens in Edinburgh. The sun started to shine when I was walking through the gardens and produced some fantastic scenes.

Wouldn't you just love to walk down this path.

What a great place to sit on that bench and enjoy the sun. What perfect solitude!

Please let me know what you think.

Re: Winter sunshine

I enjoyed these too. I spent some of my childhood walking on these paths as I stayed not far from the gardens in Stockbridge. I wondered how they might look with the HDR merging process we talked about the other night.

Azz, I think that the second one is good too, I love the contrasting light and dark, I must get it printed off to see how it looks.

Graham, I agree with you about the Stockbridge area, very mice when the light is right. I might just look at attempting HDR but I really need the images in 16 bit, I might have to see what I can do, thanks for that.

Eileen, I love walking around these gardens. As you say it is really peaceful, sitting in the sun and watching the world go by.
