Yes i agree it 's a lovely shot, perfect timing the youngster in the background really makes it for me

Very nice - really like the detail you've caught, and it's a nice exposure (though perhaps a tiny bit dark). I would have got more down on a level with the swan though, but having said that, it's a very nice image for that sort of composition!

Thanks guys,

There were lots of cygnets about Laura, if I had got down to the Swans level it would either have made off to protect them or ( more likely!) had my arm off.
