Tredegar House, South Wales

One of Nero's threads reminded me of this place, Tredegar House.

Quote:
Set in a beautiful 90 acre park, Tredegar House is one of the best examples of a 17th century Charles II mansion in Britain. The earliest surviving part of the building dates back to the early 1500’s.

Visitors can discover what life was like for those who lived above and below stairs by touring the impressive state rooms and the intriguing servants’ quarters.

It is easy to spend a leisurely day here, with plenty to interest all members of the family. Take a guided tour of the house, visit the children's playground, jogging trail and woodland walk or find out about one of our special events. Afterwards, why not treat yourself to refreshments at the Brewhouse and drop in at the Visitor Centre for information and a good selection of gifts?
Got there in the evening and there was no direct sunlight (plus it was being shy)

But thought I'd share anway

This shot was taken with me lying on the floor with a high aperture..

And this was an 'interesting' shot lol (think I had a large aperture with flash on by accident)

Re: Tredegar House, South Wales

Would have been interesting to see you on the floor Azz... You should take an assistant to photograph you photographing... Do you (or anyone else) go photographing alone? Or do you tend to have someone around to carry the bags ?

Re: Tredegar House, South Wales

The last pic was odd.. it actually wasn't too dark, but the flash was on, and I guess the camera adjusted itself to think everything was as close as the sign? :-/ Very odd lol!
