Re: Poppy

Wildflowers meadows are lovely. There was a massive poppyfield here last year, so I had fun in there Keep meaning to visit again to see if there's any this year.

Re: Poppy

I like the placement of the flower in the frame, and I love the depth of field, but it looks a little fuzzy to me, looks like it could be compression from uploading though? Perhaps it's just soft focus?

Very nice catch, but might be a little better if it was a touch sharper. Lovely colours and exposure too

Re: Poppy

Yes I noticed it was fuzzy after uploading. though it is soft focus. What is the best size to upload here?

Re: Poppy

Well - I upload no more than 800pixels along the top - however, that's not always the right size either. I would say 600 is a good bet, they never seem to be resized - what hosting are you using? Photobucket? That often seems to soften images.

Re: Poppy

Ooh - just noticed, you're uploading to the forum gallery? yes, I would say 600 pixels would be the max width you'd want, or the forum compresses them.
