Thank you both. There a few around one of the lakes I fish.

The entire plant is toxic (including the roots and seeds), although the leaves of the upper stem are particularly potent, with just a nibble being enough to potentially cause death.... http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Digitalis

I do love foxgloves, and always found them hard to photograph because of the length of the plant - it's hard to get it all in, and not have distracting things at the side/behind, and also to keep detail.

Z, I know what you mean. Finding the right angle has always been a tricky one for me to get the flower in the frame.

I like the way you have captured the texture of the flowers, especially in the whit ones as it very easy to blow these out.
