My efforts at stitching

This is the famous bridge in Ronda, Spain. Might be good to have a category for stitching efforts too.

Another pan shot of Scarbourgh

Re: My efforts at stitching

I had problems with this pan as I did not calculate the differing exposures I had when panning the camera into differing light sources. In the future I may consider accurately calculating the light measurements and adjusting the exposure times manually to compensate.

Re: My efforts at stitching

Lovely shots! Very interesting perspective on the first capture. I see what you mean by the differing light in the second photo - it is evident in the colour of the sky, however I don't think that is detracts all that much from a lovely image

I don't think it does Mel... Stitching is making panoramas and you are not changing the state of the images... maybe adjusting contrast and brightness exposure a little to get them to match, but you are not altering the image itself... if you get what i mean??? How else are panoramas made? JMO

Re: My efforts at stitching

I have to agree with Sammy here - I don't consider panoramic shots to be an Altered state as such. To me an Altered state is a shot which has been heavily PP'd and not just one that has been stitched together with minimal/no PP done to any of the individual shots
