Was in town today, took my camera and this was the best I could get! Taken on the river Ayr. And it was freezing cold and very windy!!

Re: birds!

Lovely photo's

only critisism i have and its not directed at you, just a general comment... is when taking photo's of birds the photo's would be so much nicer if you could get level with them... unfortunately means in the case of photographing swans and ducks and geese you end up getting wet Where you can, get as low as possible to them

Re: birds!

Yes I know what you mean! I would have loved to get on the same level as theses, but the river runs along the side of the path with a huge wall and an even bigger drop at the other side, so no chance of getting on the same level, well unless I learn to scuba dive, hey that might be handy! I know what I want for Christmas now.......LOl

Re: birds!

Eileen, you have a nice selection there, it is a pity you are so far above the birds but you have done well especially with the second image.
The first image is almost there, dont be scared to crop your image if required, you might be surprised at the results.
It is a pity that the others were looking the wrong way.
