Rosebank distillery Falkirk

This is all that's left of the distillery, they tell me a bottle of Rosebank's worth a bob or two now.

The distillery's on the left, on the banks of the Forth and Clyde canal, I can't believe how blue the water looks, at first when I saw the pic, I thought there was an oil slick on it.

At the righthand side of the chimney, there was a huge wooden vat.

This was the bonded warehouse, on the other side of the canal, it's converted into a restaurant now.

Lovely pics I have a thing about the old distillery buildings as my uncle was manager of one up in Speyside so spent a lot of time at them growing up.

When I saw the thread title 'distillery' I was expecting some rather blurred shots taken from unusual angles. Luckily it's disused - so you've ended up with some nice shots

I like the first shot - wonder how it would've looked if you'd added a graduated filter?

I saw the word distillary and somehow just knew there would have to be water around somewhere, but somehow thought it would be in a jug on a bar lovely pics nero, love these old looking buildings, so much more character than the new ones

Hi K, when I posted the pics, the site had just started up so I put quite a few piccies on to get the folks motivated, that particular day I did'nt have much time to work on them.
The contrast had to be boosted as the sun was really bright that day, and the reflections off the water affected the exposure, that's how I lost the detail in the sky.
