First Leica Photo

There always has to be a first with any new gadget. My first photograph taken with my new point & shoot Leica is of my friend, Wilbur. His hearing is so bad he's oblivious to most things going on around him, including getting his picture taken. I think it turned out very well for a pocket camera.

Wlbur is one of my favorite subjects because he sits across the table from me at McDonald's every morning. The detail in his 81 year old features can be a real test of a camera/lens sharpness. It also help that he's stone def and therefore in his own little world.

At 81 years old as a retired long haul truck driver he's seen a lot in his lifetime. I've taken dozens of photos of him and can assure you he's quite a character.
